Today we are talking about WiFi 7 routers. Xiaomi BE 3600 is a new and affordable router that is now available outside China such as North America, Europe, United Kingdom, India, Japan and Australia.
It is WiFi 7 enabled and therefore promises high and stable data transfer speeds. Mesh systems are also said to be easy to deploy, and customers can also integrate the router into existing wireless network infrastructure.

The Xiaomi BE 3600 is now available as a direct import through Geekwills for customers in North America, Europe, the United Kingdom, India, Japan, and Australia.
Currently priced at $49, customers should expect to pay at least $18 in shipping costs for a delivery time of up to 15 days.
For $30, customers can ship the device via DHL, UPS, or FedEx for a delivery time of 5 to 10 days. Import fees may apply, which could increase the total price by another 20%.

|– 2.4 GHz band: 688 Mbit/s (theoretical)
|– 5 GHz band: 2.882 Mbit/s (theoretical)
|Single port with a data transfer rate of up to 2.5 GBit/s
|Other adaptive ports can manage gigabit speeds, likely supporting link aggregation
|Qualcomm SoC with four 1.1 GHz processing cores
|Four antennas with beamforming support for strong connection stability and network coverage
|Up to 10 Xiaomi WiFi routers can be combined to form a mesh network
|Up to 128 clients
|Can be configured via app and web interface
|Limited support outside China due to potential language barriers and lack of approval
The router supports WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/be and offers MIMO support. For the 2.4 GHz band, the maximum possible data transfer rate is specified as 688 Mbit/s, while for the 5 GHz band it is specified as 2.882 Mbit/s.
As usual, these are only theoretical values that are usually difficult to achieve in practice. A single Ethernet port is installed with a data transfer rate of up to 2.5 GBit/s, while other adaptive ports can also handle gigabit speeds. This means that link aggregation is possible.
A Qualcomm SoC with four 1.1 GHz processing cores is installed. The amount of internal storage is 256 MB. Four antennas also support beamforming, ensuring high connection stability and network coverage.

If that’s not enough, up to 10 Xiaomi WiFi routers can be combined to create a mesh network. Simultaneous connections of up to 128 clients are said to be possible; Configuration of the router is done not only through the application but also through the web interface. However, customers outside of China shouldn’t necessarily expect top-notch support, as language can be a barrier, as well as a potential lack of authorization.
