AMD Ryzen 8000G APU
The AMD Ryzen 8000G series competes directly with the latest Intel Arc Xe GPUs integrated Intel Core Ultra (Meteor Lake). This generation offers up to eight cores and 16 threads, a substantial improvement over the previous generation’s AMD Ryzen 5000G calculations. AMD’s Zen 4 architecture built at 4nm also has high efficiency with low power consumption.
We will also see an integrated RDNA 3 GPU from the Radeon 700M series that we have already seen in laptop processors, but that we will now be able to take full advantage of thanks to the TPD of up to 65 W.

The 8000G series seems to be a good option for those who want to enjoy a positive 1080p gaming experience. We also have the option to upgrade later with a dedicated graphics card for even greater gaming performance.
As we can see, the entire AMD Ryzen 8000G series generally outperforms the next-generation Intel Arc Xe GPUs with the new Intel Core Ultra, as seen when comparing the recently announced Intel Core Ultra 7 155H. We’ll see if this graph fills out in real testing, but from what we’ve seen on the laptop, it looks pretty real.
