This new Android Auto Box, also called CarlinKit iBox Pro on other sites, offers an affordable SoC like Qualcomm SMD450 that allows you to move applications without large resource demands.
As a system we have Android 9 with Google Play Store to install any application and we can easily update from OTA in the future. To update a suitable box that comes with our car if it is old, it only needs to be compatible with the CarPlay system.
