Design and Features of Wanbo T2 Ultra

The Wanbo T2 Ultra stands out with its distinctive design, including a 120º rotating base. It offers a 100% certified Google TV system, integrated Chromecast, and comes with a Bluetooth remote control with a built-in microphone. The projector supports a maximum screen size of 140 inches with native Full HD resolution, along with features like AutoFocus and a four-point automatic screen correction system to maintain accurate image geometry.

The front of the projector houses the main lens, which is encapsulated to protect against dust. Beneath the lens, there is a camera for autofocus. The rear includes the power button and connectivity ports, while the sides feature two 5W speakers and ventilation slots. The Bluetooth remote allows users to power on the projector and control it without needing to point directly at the device.

Projection Settings

Pressing the dedicated projector key on the remote brings up various projection settings, enabling users to adjust focus, geometry (automatic or manual), alignment, object detection, scaling, and reset options. Additional settings include adjustments for image type, color temperature, and sound equalization.

Operating System and Performance

The Wanbo T2 Ultra runs on Google TV 11 and is certified by Skyworth, one of the Netflix Hailstorm partners. However, the performance is somewhat limited by its Amlogic T950D4 processor and 1 GB of RAM, which results in occasional sluggishness in the menus.

Test Bench

According to the brand’s specifications, the Wanbo T2 Ultra supports an image size ranging from 45 inches to 140 inches with a projection distance of 1.2 to 3.8 meters. While pushing the projector to its maximum screen size introduces slight distortion, the image quality remains acceptable. Additionally, the projector features a three-layer anti-dust glass lens system, ensuring clear visuals and reliable performance.
